If you ALT-TAB in game you can't get rid of the Windows 10 taskbar

Not sure what changed but thats the issue. I know this was an issue a few years ago but how do I fix it today?

can try borderless mode, can try making task manager alwasy show on front of any app then use it to SWITCH TO/BRING TO FRONT then close Task Manager. Good luck!

this happens to me on most games, what I do to fix it is click on the taskbar then just click into my game

I can launch No Mans Sky and it will be full screen. If I ALT TAB out to a browser like chrome or anything else while in game then I'm stuck with the bar when I go back. Even trying to reset the graphics won't work.
