How can I find my version?
Simply put, I'm on Mac. I am experiencing a problem (unable to rebind rotating a base part) which seems to correspond to something HG fixed in 4.36.1. I'd really like to confirm whether I in fact have that patch before troubling their small team about it - because if the answer is "that patch isn't on Steam Mac yet" then I should just wait and not trouble them at all. But if I do have that patch, and it didn't fix the problem, they need to know.

So... is there any way I can actually tell?

[On PC]
From Steam app, go to Library -> Right click No Man's Sky and choose Properties -> Select the Updates tab. This will display your current Build ID: 11738199 (is current)

The versions that are listed on the NMS website are nowhere to be found in the game, just Build ID :steamfacepalm:

108166, which per @Musashi is current for my platform and corresponds to HG's 4.38 release. So should have the change in question. Therefore I should report what I'm seeing, because I do have the potentially relevant 4.36.1 change and this has to be something else - many thanks!
