No error code if it crashes ?
You may have a look into your windows Event Viewer for more Info about that crash.
WINKey+R opens RUN, here type eventvwr.exe
Here expand Windows Logs and look under Application for warnings with a Timestamp of that crash.
Copy&Paste the details here, so we can check it
If this one shows only AppHang with unknown Reason, check the Events below of this one
NMS works perfectly fine on Win11, I myself have been using Win11 for almost two years now, and haven't had any problems during that time.
It could be that something is missing from your new computer that NMS needs.
Check in installed apps, which Microsoft Visual C++ versions you have there, there are usually a lot of versions, but 2010, 2013 and 2022 are the ones that must be there for NMS.
If something is missing, you can easily install them with this all-in-one download
https://www.techpowerup.com/download/visual-c-redistributable-runtime-package-all-in-one/
An alternative link to Microsoft, where you can find all the necessary files (if you know what to look for).
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist
Then an updated GPU driver may also be needed, a list of the latest ones can be found here, with download links.

Props for your 100% useful comment as it too will help them troubleshoot their NOT a Windows 11 issue.
You seem to have missed the entire point. OP seems to think Win11 Is the cause of the problem.
I too am now on Windows 11 and the game runs as well or better than ever. So Windows 11 isn't the cause of his problems.
Let us know when you get the OP's problem figured out. We are all genuinely curious since, again, Win11 isn't the problem.
