I'm injecting SMAA via reshade so I'll probably disable the EX.
I'm just using a mod that forces the game to render at a higher resolution. It's a simple multiplier resolution mod. Can go from like .5x to 3x. Mine is currently at 1.5x resolution. which ends up being 2880x1620.
It gets rid of enough jaggies that i'm happy with it, but doesn't kill performance as bad as SSAA X4.
Though, mine says "none", since I don't have FXAA or SSAA X4 turned on, and Honestly, I don't feel like testing, since the game requires a restart to change pretty much every graphical option. Really annoying.
setting Anti-aliasing ingame to SSAAx4 and AntiAliasingEx does stay at FXAA.
maybe this is just part of the future upgrade to a TXAA option.
What that means, only the patch notes can say, but the "AntiAliasing" property is no longer used or read by the engine. It's now named "AntiAliasingEx". That is all.
