Game still runs terrible on my R9 290x
As the title says even with the new experimental build i can't get close to constant 60 fps.
Most of the time they change between 25-35.

i5-4460 @ 3.20Ghz
R9 290x 8 Gb Vram with newest beta driver
Windows 10

Anyone else expecting same things with similar hardware?

I got the same issues with a nearly same rig:

i7-4770k @4,00 Ghz (OC)
16 Gb ddr 3 1866 Mhz (Kingston Hyper X)
XFX r9 290x with 1050 Mhz; 4 Gb with newest beta driver
Win7 64bit

I try all configurations, low seetings, high seetings, cummunity fixes, vsync on/off, Max fps, 90 fps, triple buffering in the driver, the new branch. But still have fps drops and a terrible performance with 20 fps on some of the planets and ~40 in space. Now i waited a few days, but nothing changed.. I'm absolutely disappointed at this moment....

Download RadeonPro http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=4496093&postcount=2 and install it, run it and say yes to activate 64bit. Make a profile for NMS and click on the new profile for NMS, go under "Advanced" tab and activate "Force Triple-Buffering (OpenGL)". *Sometime profiles in AMD's software don't work, not getting activated*

Running 40ish fps on:
I7 3820 @ 3.6GHz
16Gb DDR3
Asus Radeon HD 7850 4Gb
Win10 64bit

You don't need radeonpro to enable triplebuffering for opengl games. You can do that through your drivers.

Radeonpro is becoming more irrelevent since it hasn't been updated in a long ass time. It can still be useful for some games, but not this one.

I'd make sure that SSAA4x AA isn't on. After that, use DDU in safemode to uninstall your AMD drivers, reboot, reinstall 16.8.2, then reboot again.
