rofl my phenom II x965 stil kicks ass and runs gta 5, the witcher,mgs5 (after they fixed sse4.1) and a whole lot of other games just fine.

Yup a phenom should be able to run this just fine. They match up with the requirements of an "intel i3"

This is the dev's fault for closing off the support for it. Heck there's some i3s that don't support sse 4.1 yet according to the requirements all you need is an "I3".

Honestly this is probably gonna be fixed by next week. MGS 5 had this issue at launch and the devs rolled out a patch in a few hours to fix it.

Phenom II does not have support for SSE4.1 which the game requires, its only SSE4a. Unless AMD update and fix it, we need to wait for the Devs to do a hotfix.

As a note MGSV had this issue and the devs rolled an update out a few hours later.
