Nexus Mission Anonymous Assistance.
I have taken the above mission from the Nexus Twice for the same planet: Kekar 22/H1 to Rescue a Stranded life Form.
The Planet shows from Space to have Buried Salvage on it.
I have built Two Bases on it, found Two or more Trading Posts, Two or More Small Settlements, and done three or more other missions on it, Gather Feaseum and others, and have literally walked 10's of Thousands of U ON FOOT, and I have not yet found ONE Piece of Buried Salvage on it...
Either this Planet is Mislabeled, or some other problem exists.

Just did this same mission on planet Ayos 42/U7, and it worked fine. I saw 2 of the Salvage Modules from where the guy was landed...

Sometimes missions pick the wrong parameters. I have a couple times when I was sent to one of the underwater building...that happened to be on dry land. So if picked the wrong type of building for the quest and the type was in the wrong biome.

I just abandoned those missions and figure it is work of the RNG gods. It is pretty rare, but you will find stuff floating in the air or building buried inside the planet. You just got to do your best with what you get dealt and sometimes punt.

I have found that if I do not move out of that area, they Repeat More Often than not...
Yesterday I did the Rescue Life-form down in exactly the same spot on a planet Twice, in about two hours.
If the OP Repeats, that mission is a Scrub Every Time.

Aside from that, The Map Reads Wrong about what this Planet has... Says Salvageable Scrap, and there is None on it.
That needs changes in the Game Code...

OK.... I just took another one of these. I Measured my Travel with Ship and Marker Use, and went over 50 K U, the planet says it HAS Salvageable Scrap, but I did not see ONE on any Scan.
I got back in my Ship, and Launched into space, intending to Scrap the Mission... For fun, I Scanned a Couple of other planets in the System, and another one had Salvageable Scrap on it. What the Heck, I landed, and within 850 U of my ship was a Salvage Unit, It Was THE RIGHT UNIT, and within 550 U of my ship was the Decryption Location....

I did not see this type of Work Around for the OP.

Now that you mentioned it; I’m fairly certain I too have gone to a different planet than the mission specified & ended up completing it.

Definitely would add that a resolution step in future Nexus missions.

I had to do that same thing Twice just today...

Planet Isces can Join The Ranks of those Claiming to have Salvageable Scrap on them that Do NOT in fact have any....

I just took this same mission on LOMA XIII, and it went as it should. There was One Salvageable Scrap within 1,000 of the Ship, (Stranded Person), and several others in the 12,000 U I went Cross Country to get the one I had to the Decryption Terminal...

There has to be something wrong when I travel over 50,000 on a Planet, and do not find a single unit...

This Thread was done when Salvageable Scrap was used for it... Now, Buried Technology Modules are being used.
7 is not a lot. 12 to 15 might be...
