Game won't launch
Used to play NMS with no issues. Recently I thought I'd see how things were coming. Game wouldn't launch. Uninstalled, then reinstalled from Steam. Same thing. Won't launch, no splash screens, nothing.

@Ryan Wilderman
Did you try to launch NMS.exe from \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\No Man's Sky\Binaries ? May give an error message
I get the app was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)
maybe thats help ... got it from another player :
Fix 0xc00007b error "the application was unable to start correctly"

Got it! Apparently, if you uninstall ALL of the redistributables and restart your computer, then reinstall them, it works? That's how I finally got it to work after two days of having no idea what to do. https://www.techpowerup.com/download/visual-c-redistributable-runtime-package-all-in-one/ This package right here is what helped me get it up and running again, as well as redownloading two .dlls that were giving me issues: mscvp120.dll and mscvr120.dll

Something wrong with your SentinelONe
If you haven't figured it out already, I got this working on a workstation with your same error. Whoever manages your Sentinel One needs to go into your workstation in the portal and create an exclusion for the folder the game is in (I just did it for all Steam games) https://carvir-msp.sentinelone.net/docs/en/creating-a-path-exclusion.html#creating-a-path-exclusion
It's an issue with how S1 works and how their anti-cheater/modder works. S1 injects a dll into exe's to make sure there's nothing malicious going on, and NMS (and some other games) looks to see if any dlls are being injected, then if there are, it kills the exe.
i get this error 73811_0x0_ST76561197974939527
same thing the game won't start at all

The domain of your computer name points to a law firm. Do you have permission to run games on this machine in the first place?

If so, the admin needs to whitelist NMS.exe - it is seen as a threat because it tries to open ports for dynamic multiplayer.

Check the Event viewer. The error code is not helpful here.
@Ettanin .. Oh yes that code is well known for an older version of OBS

Could be something else. That's why the eventviewer entry is more helpful. Not everyone is a streamer.
