Autosave not autosaving!

The nexus is suddenly empty - firs thought is that I've lost network but here I am typing into a forum so network is good. neither autosave nor manual save appears to be working. This is a PC and can give specifics but just for now want to know if anyone else is having a problem. Just did weekend event but it was not saved after I stopped for supper.

AFAIK, nothing is saved while you are on a Nexus mission. You only get to update your save after you return from the mission to the Nexus and turn it in. Otherwise, it always defaults to where you were before anything happened.

Not sure if that is your issue, but any saves you made during the mission are not kept...I think it even tells you that if you try.

Thanks for the feedback. You were correct in that the problems I was having were not associated with a Nexus mission. I've just got into the habit now of always carrying a save point device and before I quit or shut down I save both by save point and by entering and exiting my ship. Then I compare date and time on the screen for both autosave and save information before exiting to desktop.

So far this plan has only failed one time and I only lost about 2 hr. play. I'm beginning to believe it is associated with internet connection speed.
