Multiplayer issue. Keeps disconnecting everyone?

So I started playing this game for the first time last night. Im not huge into space games but myself and 2 friends decided to play. Everything seemed to be fine except literally every 3 minutes or so we/I kept getting disconnected. I could still play solo but my friends ships and their characters would just keep blinking in and out. We all tried restarting the games, pcs, and tried changing host leaders. That could almost be doable, but once we started putting stuff down, anything I had down, it kept saying someone else was in it and I could access or remove myu own items. We were both in a team and not in one due to losing connection constantly. And will make it extremely hard to follow the group if theyre invisible to me. Anyone have any advise on this isssue? I really wanna give this game a college try. but this is so frustrating. All our pcs run it great other then that. Thanks so much!

nah, i just stopped playing for now. Was too annoying trying to stay with everyone in the ships and have them disappear and reappear. Kept losing them

i've only successfully connect to the online discovery service once since i bought this game few days ago.
