the game will create a new one with default values
check gfx-driver settings
Thanks for the reply, but that didn't seem to fix it. It did create a new file, but it still disconnects my monitor.
then i would play with the monitor ports and monitor resolutions, i think you know that a monitor goes ´offline´ when it cannot handle a resolution..
the game runs, game settings at default - no picture - i guess it's driver related
So I've run the game on my current setup before, which is what makes this weird. Here's what I've discovered though.
If I leave the game running while I target the desktop, it still loads up the main menu, and you can even see the game when you hover over the application icon on the Windows 10 Task bar. The moment you actually click on the application, monitor acts up.
From there, I unplugged the secondary monitor (24" 1080p 144hz) and tried to run the game, monitor acts the same when trying to load.
I unplugged the main display (35" 3440x1440p 100hz) and the game loaded fine on my secondary monitor.
Not particularly helpful since I want to play on the 35", but it's a start.
Not sure why Fullscreen was doing it, but it's working!
