Seem to be stuck in warp.

I now seem to be stuck in warp. I've waited about 10 minutes, and it has still not come out. I'm warping to Atlas location, about 20-30 light years, so it should be quick. I'm on pc, Windows Server 2012, Nividia 980, Core i5 3570k, 16gb i don't know if it is bug, or is part of the recent update. It seems almost like real time. The game is running fine. I did notice that I spent a goodly amount of time on that location, probably 10 or more hours, mining.

2021 and this bug is still not fixed in the least. every time i do a nexus mission i get stuck in warp

Nice necro. Warp is a load screen. If it is not finishing, there is something preventing the game from completing the load of the new location. Could be a one time glitch, but more likely time to verify your game files, remove any mods you might have installed, make sure your Windows and Graphic Drivers are up to date.

Could be a few other things, but those are the most obvious to check first.

8/5/2024 and this glitch still exists.
Also have had a glitch landing in the anomaly my ship never landed and kept moving forward glitched through the walls and just kept going and going.

18/10/2024 - This post should keep getting revived until the bug is fixed.

For anyone googling and finding only "Hard reset the game/console", my experience is that I can't get back to my base at the Expeditions's rendezvous 1 (Aquarius).

What I suspect is that many players made their bases in that system, and the game gets confused when too many try to log there. Yes, the servers makes more instances for more players, but it is the very begning of the Expedition, so maybe the servers are unable to manage it and throw some player in warp-screen-limbo.

So i'd say: try to make a base in less populated system, like a couple of jumps away from the Expedition story line. I'm finishing Aquarius right now and throwing my main base away because i cant get back to it, so hope this saves some people the frustration in the future.

11/25/2024 I've been playing NMS for ~5 yrs and just started having the stuck in warp/teleport tunnel in the last week. Is it related to no, of bases/size-complexity of freighter? User data corruption? Cheers.

I have seen it on a fresh save on the switch. Have to reload and re-warp.

Call me crazy, might be placebo, but I’ve been using the save point marker in my freighter immediately before I warp and it hasn’t happened to me in quite a few warps so that might help.

I’ve done some experimenting and if the warp bug happens pretty often to you then do this:

1. build a save beacon in your freighter
2. Use it to save right before warping
3. Warp

Additional problems:
1. If you refill hyperdrive that must be before saving, not after or the glitch can happen
2. You may need to upload discoveries as well, this caused the glitch for me a few times

Notes:
This is exactly what I’m doing to explore right now and it seems to not cause the glitch.

1. Save game
2. Warp to purple system
3. Use freighter planetary scan
4. Upload discoveries
5. Repeat
