AMD Radeon HD 7800 series
I just bought this game today and can't even launch it.

I have the AMD Radeon HD 7800 series card, old I know, but according to the specs, within the required. When I boot up the game, it pops up an error message telling me my graphics drivers are out of date - The Vulkan driver for 'grahpics card' reports that it is version 2.0.49. This seems to be an old driver. We recommend you at least have driver version 18.2 installed etc.

If I try to run the game anyway, it launches the first screen and then immediately crashes to desktop.

I went to the AMD website and downloaded the latest driver, as I run the install, it hangs on - 'Please wait, detecting hardware' indefinitely.

In troubleshooting, I've tried disconnecting the internet during install, running it in compatibility mode, express install and custom install and I've tried a few older drivers as well to see if the latest one was just not working well.

On my device manager, Update driver, it tells me I already have the latest. The driver version is listed as 24.20.13019.1008.

I can't seem to update my drivers no matter what I try.

Also.. my mouse cursor is now flickering.

Any ideas people?

Google DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and delete your possible corrupt Driver.

Go to https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-131 and use that to get the best Driver for your System.

Thank-you! That fixed it and I'm now in the menu page, fingers crossed the game plays now.

ETA: It does. :D
