Probable fix to Yellow Triangle with Black Exclamation Point

I ran into the situation where when I accessed my inventory and highlighted a slot, the popup would indicate that to do something I needed to do a yellow triangle with a black exclamation point.

This did not make sense to me. None of the key strokes did the indicated action. After some poking around the discussions, one seemed to say check your key bindings.

It was correct. The yellow triangle indicates that there is no key assigned to that action. I went into options and remapping the keys (what ever it is called) and found that "Perform Interaction" did not have a key assigned to it. I selected reset to default which assigned "E" to the action.

No More yellow triangles! and everything worked!!!
