White screen, NO CRASHING. [FIXED]

Ive heard about the white screen/crash. Mine does not crash. I can launch the game and walk around but i just cant see the world, Other than some UI.

cant seem to find anybody else with this problem. i also contacted NMS support. will post a fix if i find one.

[FIX][UPDATE]: NMS support reccomend I DELETE any MODS I might have installed. Hopefully you remember which files are modded, Or you have a backup.I dont remember so I just uninstalled my game and deleted my data in PROGRAMFILES(X86)>STEAM>STEAMAPPS>COMMON>NOMANSSKY. Reinstall the game like normal.

Same issue and I have a 1060. doubt it's gpu related..

Hi Guys!

Can I ask if you have any mods installed?

If so, it might be worth just uninstalling them to see if the problem resolves.

It's also worth mentioning that uninstalling the game and reinstalling doesn’t always remove mods so you’ll need to uninstall the mods separately.

Had the same problem.

Fixed it by making sure my display driver was up to date.

Yes! Drivers in need of an update, historically, can cause issues with many games some drivers may need them more frequesntly than others if I recall from memory, but yes, please always check those if you get persistant crashes.
