No missions at mission board?
I'm not seeing any missions at the mission board. I went to multiple stations and talked to the alien that gives missions and he keeps saying there are none. Not sure if it makes a difference but I'm on the main quest part where I will get the atlas pass soon.

I did some searching and I found if you go to the guide menu where it tells you how to do things, and then click on trade and standing, and then click on 'The mission board", there will be a button that says "start quest". I pressed it, and it told me to go to a space station to the mission board. Once I got there the quest completed and still, the mission alien has nothing for me. I'm so confused.

Just figured it out. For anyone wondering, you need to visit your first Atlas station. Missions will then be unlocked.

Was looking for an answer to this question (on my second playthrough), and found the resolution while playing. Current as of 1.34 update.

The sequence of events was 1) first system warp jump 2) got to the planet with beacon to pickup warp cell 3) got back into space and agreed to seek the atlas path as well. --> Missions now unlocked at planetary stations. Definitively triggers after the pickup of the warp cell.

Hope this helps somebody!

Hasn't anything to do with Atlas, the story or whatnot, instead you exactly need to warp 3 times.
This would be a spoiler if not confusing so many players.

Politely beg to differ due to playing through this today. # of warps is not the trigger. As I was able to pick up missions on my 2nd solar system/2nd warp, had 7 done before doing the 3rd jump.
