as for ""the planet to fish on"" there are many... at least there was in the original run of Expedition 15... but you may be asking about the rendezvous planets? i'm not playing the redux so i don't know but hopefully someone has a list of the rendezvous systems and planets they are willing to post... in any case, be sure that milestone is selected in your log tab and the game should point you in the proper direction... most of the time this is following the "Expedition Route" in the Galaxy Map and then following the marker to the milestone location area...
note, too, that once you get to the rendezvous points, you can go elsewhere to do the actual tasks... they don't have to be done on the rendezvous planets... the only things that have to be done in rendezvous planets is getting to the rendezvous...
No telling how early so I'll start with Step one.
If for whatever reason you don't already have the rod on your Multitool, you'll have to build it out of parts you mine with the starting mining beam.
Then pick an empty square on the top portion of the Multitool screen, select the box & another little menu comes up that should display what bits you can add to the MT.
Select the Rod, then select it again, it should have A little Gear Icon on it, this time it will open A small set of boxes that should have pictures of the materials you need to "make thing do" sorry it felt like A great place to use that lol! anyway, slot those materials & find some water & your off!
I can't recall if the rod was prebuilt in the Expo as I ran that sucker fast & got wrapped up building my House upon A Rock on A Toxic Storm Planet.
Hope it helps, but if this step is wholly useless then as A 2am distraction I'll just blame the lateness of the hour for my idiocy, happens more than I'd like to admit though.
Sadly the "help" a lot of players need is to just READ. I've seen long time players whine about wanting features that are already in the game, just as often as new players trying to do something that's spelled out right in front of their face.
this is a common issue...not only with NMS but every game out there , people looking for an easy/fast way.
it ends on the 22 nd
Have a good game ( ans sorry im new that’s wsh my question wars maybe dumb)
