Source for rancid meat
I need rancid meat for a recipe and no biological horrors spawn when collecting whispering eggs. Is there a new source or is this just another bug?

On one hand, no, that shouldn't happen.

On the other hand, free whispering eggs! go nuts!

If you don't have the "on foot combat" set to None/Off, then I'd say it's a bug.

If you haven't already, exit/reenter the game. Sometimes that fixes little burps.
