Last day for EXP 17
Hello,

I have a game I desperately want to finish, but I don't want to miss this one.
Anyone know the last day and about how long it took you to finish?
I know they can usually be busted out pretty quick for experienced NMS players.

Damn that seems like a long run time, Works for me.
If you get to the ship, use the save editor and bring in the multitools and ships you have already built up sufficiently, you can usually complete the game in less than five hours.
If you progress ‘seriously’, or care about anything other than achieving milestones, or are not familiar with the mechanics of the expedition, it will probably take more than eight hours.

I always start fresh in the expeditions, sort of a "dang... the ship crashed, I'm the only survivor, let's get out of here!" viewpoint.

I casually completed the current expedition in about 10.5 game hours, which is perhaps long compared to most.

I get distracted sometimes, like to wander a bit but boy do I enjoy the journey.
yeah this expedition went very fast for me, part of an evening and then finished it up the next day. most of the stuff from the later parts of the expedition got finished while doing the earlier parts. I think I spent more time just checking out the Gas Giant and the water world than I did actually doing the missions
I went around collecting memory stones on the mutated relic before realizing it wouldn't transfer to my main save and it was pointless. otherwise I spent some time trying to line up the dominoes (only completing the phases I wanted to.)

Finally started it and played a little bit. Is it just me or is the game way more buggy? Landing inside ground, space stations not letting you land or flying you through the thing, water jets don't land. I can't think of any more right now, but it seems excessive.

Even if you don't grab materials, this is one of the easiest expeditions they ever released.

The only "hard" parts about it, are a little RNG at the beginning and trying to find a fishing hole on the gas giant, but then that's what community bases are for. The rest is stupidly simple stuff. Ten of the milestones are "Go to Rendezvous Point and take a photo", lol.

I also do the expeditions from a new save, and try to get a Sentinel ship to make travel easier. I do take my time, and try to do all tasks I can do in the first system. Took me about 8 hours - did have a few issues that required a re-load as I could not find the sunk freighter (maybe this has been fixed?) at first on any planet.

There's a player base for the sunken freighter, too. It's near one of the Rendezvous Points and it should show up in the anomaly.

i started the expedition naked, grabed some nanites, back for my multitool and my ship in the anomaly then completed the five steps in less than 5 hours.

I spent a lot of time exploring the new places like deep oceans and the giants. I'm like 6 hours in and only just got to the 4th phase lol
