And no, you'd have to do the Artemis path, Atlas path, and Autophage missions to get to the point of unlocking the Atlantid drive (you can't purchase the BP).
And the story missions don't trigger during the expo, so you'd be completely out of luck if you cant reload...
If you had left the game running, you may have been able to wait for the old ship to land again and buy it back, but it's probably too late for that now
The problem is, when you are playing "on" an expedition, regardless of how you started it, you do not get any of the normal story missions that would be required.
Edit: if this save was "new" for the expedition, then just leave it and start another new save. If you started from the Anomaly, you can force the expedition to "end" by going offline and editing the JSON file
*Nothing about Atlantid drive & the missing hyperdrive was indeed a bug
I hope I’m wrong
Don't be like me.
Thanks in advance!
All the materials for various Drives (Chromatic Metal, Cadmium, Emeril, Indium) can be found within the accessible systems in a progressing manner - Chromatic Metal opens access to Cadmium, Cadmium opens access to Emeril, Emeril opens access to Indium. Chromatic metal can be obtain in a variety of ways, but the most common are: refining Copper, refining Quartzite/Activated Quartzite (pertaining to the latest expedition).
