Titan expedition should give purple star access in main save
It's too hard to start In Stellar Multitudes. Players who have finished the Titan expedition should have access to purple stars.

The Expedition felt like a "look at all of this cool stuff. You like this stuff, right? So go unlock it!"

It's motivation to do the stuff to unlock it.

Now, I will agree that for a veteran who has already done Artemis Path on another save, doing a new save is daunting, boring, feels like a waste of time, etc.

The new player? You have nothing to complain about as you still have a lot of content left to see and do before you arrive there. It's all going to be new, might as well just sit back and do the story missions. There's some nice rewards out of it (like that tech that gives a lot of stat bonuses).

The content in question: Go to a new star system and planet to walk at a compass objective for 3 minutes, get some cool lore for 1 minute, and repeat 30 times.

You can do other stuff WHILE doing Artemis Path, you know.

Building up your equipment (because stepping onto a gas giant with starter equipment is a suicide run), etc.

Yes! And the game should also come with a participation trophy that automatically unlocks everything because I spent money! I don't want any challenges or obstacles to overcome or to experience. It needs to be served on a silver platter. I won't accept ceramic.
You can run the expedition from your main save using the anomaly. Make sure the new hyperdrive is on the ship you are in when you transfer back. Now you have access to expedition stuff after it concludes.

I already did the Artemis Path and the Autophage quest. But apparently I have to do the Atlas Path too.

It is one thing to have prerequisites. It is another for said prerequisites to have issues with softlocks. It sounds like that even the actual mission you had to unlock had softlock potential, atleast when they shipped it.

Lmao, it's totally not too hard to do the main quests. It's an end game questline. If you are that lazy, just download goatfungus save editor and add the atlantid drive to your ship and freighter.
It sucks that you have to play the game to play the game. It should just be a tv show.:steamfacepalm:

But some DooTuber had the special ship & now I NEED it too. It's unfair that I don't have it. It's a BUG
