Titan Expedition - Storm Crystals
I got 1 but forgot where. Can anyone reference a system with Storm Crystals?

The Gas Giant that we all started on. The Storm Crystals are available there 24/7 (always storming).
The Gas Giant in the first system worked for me. It is a PITA getting to them. Only had one where there were two in the same place. Make sure to gas up your ship before you leave so you can call it in when you are done.

The starting planet ... And we also know how to do the ‘Flying into a storm’ milestone.

You can also try any planet with extreme weather, you'll find plenty of them crystals during storms.
any system with "activated" metals will have frequent storms, and therefor lots of storm crystals. And gas giants have constant storms....

Any gas giant, like the one you started the expedition on,

I checked three different "extreme weather" planets and didn't see a single storm crystal at any time :(

It cannot be a paradise or anomalous planet.

It has to be Hot, Toxic, or Radioactive.

I don't think cold planets work either. But I could be mistaken on that. You'll know if the planet is valid because you'll see the unbreakable rocks scattered about when there's no storm.

All of my Storm Crystals were singles, same with the bones. Best part is I went back to dig up more bones to buy a nicer boat.... 3 4's, right in a row.

Wait until you have the Minotaur. THEN go after them on the gas giant. Slap down a base while you are there. 2 for 1 ;).

Note, mostly solitary but there are LARGE clusters now and then.

I finished phase 3 without ever using a minotaur

Yeah, on foot is fine. You could gather them before you even repair the ship at the start of the expo...
And afaik, you have to get out of the minotaur to actually collect the crystals anyway...

Some people just seem to be afraid of hazardous environments...

I do believe that 'Cold' planets can have Storm crystals on them, it just seems to be rarer for these planets to have storms for some reason.
I'm pretty sure I have run into some like this before, if I'm remembering correctly. In fact, I'm pretty sure I made a base on one like that once...

Yeah, it's always possible so long as there are ever extreme storms.

Also, If you really want to avoid storms, you can occasionally get storm crystals as a drop from the crystal fragments you can find while harvesting di-hydrogen... so even airless planets can provide storm crystals with enough effort.

Expo is shirt for exposition, not expedition. Otherwise it would be "expodition"
