New DLSS is out

Get it here, replace it in your steamapps/common/NoMan'sSky/binaries folder.

The DLSS Frame Generation (nvngx_dlssg) .dll is still at 3.7.10, so only the nvngx_dlss.dll should be needed. Even if you don't use DLSS, but still use DLAA, it's good to update it because DLAA is included in this file.

Did you play long enough that the game had a chance to rebuild the texture caches?

Yes. After 1 minute the textures settle down, but before it didn't happen so late (I have an RTX 2060)... ...maybe it has something to do with the new nvngx that I replaced

...I also noticed that with the new NMS update the game no longer writes shaders to disk (\steamapps\shadercache\275850)

That might be part of your issue then, because it still does create the cache for me.
