question about the harmonic interface quest
So I want to do the task which can give me the staff, so I found the harmonic interface, exchanged the tool and ship, jumped from one universe to another but the quest just wont trigger. I did those stuff again, jumped only the universe with Korvax but the quest still dont trigger. Anyway to trigger this damn mission? I already have a settlement place and completed the blue minotaur quest.

Did you complete the Artemis path missions entirely (the one where you pick a green, red, blue or ...some other color orb at the end)? A lot of players mix up the Atlas and Artemis paths, it's the latter that needs to have been completed.

Otherwise all I can tell you is keep doing jumps (with your starship, not freighter) until it starts up,. I had similar issues the first time I did it where I was like, wtf am I missing? And it ended up firing up on my very next jump after I posed a similar question to what you are doing here.

Mmmmm, you say you jumped from one universe to another, by that do you mean Galaxy? Or just little star systems. Universe, well that's the whole tamale. Gotta get your terms right in this game or it's too confusing.

What Jaggid said. You need to complete the questline that has you choose a new "galaxy", (red/blue/green, normal, lush, harsh etc) Only after you get to the new galaxy (one other than Euclid) will that questline pop and it may take another jump to a second system then a slightly sustained pulse. The pulse is what pops it within the system. Don't despair but do get the terms firmly stuck in your brain. Galaxy, system, planet; warp/jump, pulse.

"A Trace of Metal", the sentinel settlement mission is no longer a requirement. You've obtained some outdated info :(

As already stated above, you need to:
Complete the Artemis story line and choose a colored galaxy inside the Atlas
Obtain the buzz lightyear wings by finding and unlocking a Harmonic camp. It's irrelevant as to whether you obtain a multi-tool or ship, just unlock the terminal

Thanks for the reply, but I have obtained and equipped the wings, completed the main story to the "last portal" bit. And what is it by "choose a colored galaxy"?

Manually going through the galactic core doesn't count.
You have to complete the story[nomanssky.fandom.com] missions to select a new galaxy[nomanssky.fandom.com].

Sorry, I'm Chinese and I was too eager to solve it so I didnt check for the right english terms. But I did the main storyline to the bit where you need to find the last portal, and Im still in Euclid. I used the pulse jump in systems with Korvax, and traveled through galactic map, but it dont seem to work

I dont recall the orbs stuff, if you mean by the new formula then I have. Well Artemis have said his final words to me,so I guess that means a wrap.

You mean I have to leave the Euclid system?

Yes, but it's very easy to return to Euclid via a teleporter after you change galaxy, just make sure to build a base or visit a space station before you leave or you will have to do galaxy core jumps to get back to the new galaxy again if you want to...

Incorrect

I'm pretty sure I have a screenshot but am too lazy this early in the am. Here the final section of the Artemis story - you select one of these colored orbs (they are a new galaxy) and you will watch the normal galaxy animations and finally spawn on a new planet in a new galaxy ("We're not in Kansas anymore, Toto")

Actually my guide has screenshots of the Orbs too (select "Hello Atlas" section)

What do you mean, like,I can access Euclid system via any teleporter I set here?

Yes, once you have traveled to a different galaxy and built a base or visited a space station (as @Shadow Strider said) the Teleporter system will list ALL of your places, it will list the galaxy on the info panel as shown

You have not completed the story line quests until they have actually disappeared from your quest list upper left. You also need to highlight the quest you are specifically working on by hitting H (k/M) and scrolling through them regularly. The game cycles through quests so you can be working on something and suddenly find that nothing makes sense till you realize that when the quest isn't highlighted it's like it doesn't exist. Makes me crazy.

This game is a bit confusing the first time (at least) you go through the initial quests that are both tutorial and take you all the way to making the trip to a second galaxy through the quests, not just jumping there manually. Curb your enthusiasm for running ahead to complete things. Sometimes makes them actually take longer when not done in "order".

I have found that if you really get confused it's time to go to the Fandom Wiki and see what quests show on your screen and where they are in the list on Wiki. From there you can see how far you have to go. And read the quests as you progress through them. There sometimes is something left to complete that does not seem obvious. It's a big complicated game and it's easy to get confused. Good luck.
