Can not build in base
I will try and describe my problem as short and simple as possible:

I'm in my base building, having a good ol' time. I fly off or teleport somewhere and do stuff. I fly or teleport back and now I can not build in my base area anymore. I have to quit to title menu and enter my save to be able to build.

My base is on an island, I have parts between the base computer and buildings (extend the area), and I have also moved the base computer.

Do anyone know what is up with that?
Thanks
-Due

Normally, when I read this, the player had two bases that overlap.

I only have one.
I tried to build a new base computer the first time I noticed this, but I was not allowed to place it because of existing base.

I saw this during Cursed {last time i built a base}. Basically it was not letting me snap stuff together like buildings or foundations etc ... let me build just nothing wanted to snap. Probably the first time I saw that {as a perma-novice builder}, but a reload worked.

Ok. Thank you guys. If this is a bug I guess I can not do much about it.

Yeah, this is why I stopped working on my settlement expansion... most times I would go there to build stuff then the nearby base radius wasn't extending into the settlement correctly...

I just have a standard procedure of saving then reloading whenever I'm going to work on a base. I do it without even checking if I need to, at this point. It's just faster to save/reload then to head to the base radius to check if I even need to.

Also check you haven't hit V and stopped snapping, or at least screwed it up. I will categorically deny having done this in the past, and probably in the future.:steamdeadpan:
