Calling all explorers! Help me find my lost Alien T-Rex pet! 🦖💔

Hello fellow travelers,

During Expedition 2, I stumbled upon an incredible Alien T-Rex on a distant planet and, to my surprise, I could tame it and ride it! 🦖. Unfortunately, when I returned to my main save, I couldn’t get it back, and now it's gone. 😢

I’m now exploring systems across Euclid, hoping to find something even remotely similar. I’m reaching out to the No Man’s Sky community: Have any of you found a creature like this recently? Maybe there’s a system or planet I should check out?

I’ve been traveling across systems in Euclid, hoping to find something similar. Does anyone know how I can recover that pet, or where I might find one like it? Any help is appreciated!

I found this one in the Eissentam galaxy on the planet Nator 91/R2 (aggressive sentinels). I just adopted one but for it to lay eggs, you have to wait 24 hours.

For your (and others) future self, when playing an expedition from your main save, if you grab screenshots like this;

you'd have the portal address, making it super easy to return.

Simply add a planet to your Wonders and grab the screenshot.

Drop a base computer and name it appropriately, like so;

to allow easy teleporter access to the planet/system

LOL - I'm doing a Nexus "bones" mission. Talked to a Traveller in the station and grabbed the glyph. This was on the planet:

There are a lot of Theropods/Ornithopods in NMS, but most look pretty silly...
The one in the OP's pic looks pretty cool apart from the weird glowing back-flowers...
I can't say the beak looks nearly as cool... (at least not in my opinion)

You can also use this website to search for Fauna > Tyrannosaurus Rex: https://nmsge.com/
It will give you the portal address to any you like the look of. You'll definitely be able to find a very similar dino (perhaps even one using all the same parts) on there.

Or if you really want to get the exact same configuration, plug all the information into this website: https://nms.center/ and it will spit out a portal address to your ideal combination of creature features. :)
