Crossplay Question

I play this on pc, and I'm thinking it's a great game to get my son started on survival games but for now he only has a Nintendo switch. I have read that you can't co op between switch and pc, is this still the case?

I may be wrong, but isn't switch in it's own universe? I can't remember exactly, but I remember seeing that one of the consoles was not really MP ready for this game.

Nintendo Switch does not have multiplayer they had to sacrifice something for the other amazing 8 years of content updates

It's really cool that they continue to support and develop the game. I'm sure that multiplayer on Nintendo would be good.

The Switch isn't capable of handling mutliplayer with this game.

Switch unfortunately doesn’t have the capacity for multiplayer in No mans sky. Too demanding.

Hell, going to the space anomaly on my high end pc will often drop my fps to like 30 or so upon first entering. Can’t imagine how sluggish it would’ve been on switch

Surely it could handle 2 player co op and just not show anyone not partied at the anomoly or something. Either way, I didn't buy it because of this.
