great question tbh, all we have to go on rn is length between updates (which does check since its been awhile since a proper update for NMS vs a expedition update) Also, its been long theorized theres a pattern to the updates now (updating very old core systems in a 2.0 sense, proc gen being one of the big ones)

I mean i wont be shocked or dissapointed if its more LNF, but i think we're quite a ways away from anymore on that, sean learned his lesson there.

def not another expidition, theyve almost always gone expo -> update -> expo -> update and very rarely deviated from that

Origins 2 comes to mind when I see the globe. It has been a long while since they did anything major to the flora, fauna. I am hoping for some special care to the caves and underwater biomes. The caves have almost stayed exactly the same as when the game launched....actually downgraded a bit when I think about it.

Sean is the Double Entendre Emoji Master... Planet, Globe, Earth, home, but more likely something more obscure.

In this case however, because it is an "earth or planet" emoji, it could be either or NMS or LNF... or BOTH! :)

Is there an outside chance Sean wants to 'Make Earth Great Again' and bid for a potential vacancy at the White House or take over the world before it gets obliterated...

The emoji definitely is Earth as you can see North and South America. Sean could have selected any other planet emoji, like Saturn, with it's classic planet silhouette, for something to tease us with NMS, but chose not to. Why? Why Earth in particular? Are we getting our own solar system added to the game? Planet sized biome improvements?

It's either Hello Games releasing some news about Light No Fire or No Man's Sky. An Earth sized choice, raising Earth sized speculation and hype with Earth shattering news. : D

I think it's LNF related or something they are doing to the engine that relates to both games and how the planets appear, though my wish would be like Mr Bufferlow's. I dunno, I never guess right on these but I'm excited.
