I got myself an interceptor which I repaired but my problem is I reset the simulation and now my craft is damaged and I need a harmonic brain to repair but there isn't one to remove so haven't clue how to sort this ?

You get three of them in the supplies box of a derelict freighter. You can use them instead of specific resources for repairing damaged modules. There is a keybind shown in the repair window when you have repair kits available in your inventory.

You can also buy them at the scrap dealer on any space station, if you have tainted metal to spend, and you can buy them from the regular vendor on Outlaw space stations, for units.

Edit: Talking about buying repair kits, not harmonic brains. Just realized that might not have been entirely clear without an actual quote to indicate what I was responding directly to.

you need a hyaline brain which can be obtain from sentinel ship (police forces) than go on a corrupted planet and simply seek for one of the probe pods(harmonic scrap) interact with it and activate the hayline brain afterwards which leads you to one of the monument where you can turn your hyaline brain into harmonic brain

you can get the location of a corrupted world by simply destroying a sentinel carrier and obtaining an dreadnought ai fragment, so simply raise the sentinel alert level in a normal system (not pirate) until a carrier finally spawns.

There are probably also other option to get this loot

Next time you change galaxies switch to a ship that doesn't require special materials for repairs.

Thank you all for mentioning the repair kits. I was flying around a while trying to square away a damaged harmonic brain as well. The funny part was I had about 25 repair kits and didn't think to use one. LOL
