I can not resist quoting Meme Turtle here. With just those sizes you can make anything your brain can conjure up. Does anyone else see the irony? Am I alone?
While I ruminate over legos I stand here in the NMS sandbox and look for endgame content and wonder if that is just bigger sand grains or whether it might include pebbles and stones, or maybe some rocks. What is the function of end game content in an unending sandbox? How would I recognize it when I see it? Will it mean I can never play again? That it has ended, I will be locked out?
Help me Rhonda, such confusion, my brain is small and old. What have I been doing for all these hours, where have I been - what was the reason - should I have been bored? Was I bored and just didn't notice? So many questions. Wait, I do remember boring - that was an FPS shooter, now that's f'ing boredom and so was the MMO life of being led around by the nose needing to do all those dailies, dungeons, bosses, subs, bots, rmt cash shops, all those little pins on the maps I had to interact with so they could tell me what to do next. OMG that was boring. This game with the sandbox, not so much. Legitimately though, ymmv.
If your brain is limited to only comprehend 90 degree angles and cannot fathom moving parts and gears then your ironic attitude is well suited.
Thats what NMS is partially a really bad one, its certainly not a space combat sim with its terrible controls and targeting and asteroids that stalk you around everywhere (remember the grinning asteroid from star fox, it moved to NMS), and its not a good base builder either with far more limited options then normal ones have, and the oh so many bugs with it.
It's a terrible space trucker sim too with limited market options and no actual big ships outside your freighter. Your never gonna have a fleet of capital ships and bases like the X series. Frigates don't count, their barely capital ships, and they don't do much but go on a text adventure with a long cooldown.
It's just NMS a colorful game that wants to be something but can't decide, cause its stuck in a loop with the number 16.
Thats true. Gaming is like this.
There is different levels of gamer.
You are so full of yourself. Nothing is true about your post.
Why do you say the controls are terrible ?
I think they are really smooth so far myself.
The base building is awesome. Looks awesome to.
Your just a tard. Thats all.
Your butthurt somehow and its warped your mind.
I love this game a lot because NMS is always what i wanted.
Are you for real? have you even played a real space sim? If you haven't I suggest Tiefighter or Freespace for a Combat sim, and the X-Series For a Trucker sim. You'll understand why the controls\physics are bad in this game afterwards.
As for the base building is glitchy as heck, not only can you still climb ladders into the stratosphere a bug thats been there since launch they never fix, the base can still refill itself too another major annoying bug.
The parts themsevles are a pain to connect, stairs in particular are beyond stupid lets contuine to target the nodes outside the area you want the stairs to connect when building large bases. The list can go on with targeting issues alone which make it annoying as a building sim.
The parts themselves there aren't enough diff sizes and colors to make anything super interesting too.
You have obviously not played many other games and def not space sims if you think this game is great.
It's a time killer for when your bored and have nothing else to do and little else when everything else has been exhausted.
But Thats the end of the world or I wouldn't of played it, Games don't have be 10 stars to waist your time when your bored.
Its a 5\10 Its something to do award. If you think otherwise your a newbie to gaming.
I wouldn't listen to anyone who is targeting one's character over video game preference. If you don't like NMS, that's a totally fine preference
But perhaps, 14 hours is quick to judge a game that aims to capture the vastness of the universe (multiverse even). If you find yourself bored now, maybe you'll come back at a later point and something new sticks out, or something that you never visited will cause a spark to enjoy the game. I hope you give it a few more hours as someone who enjoys the game, but if you don't, it's not like it really matters, you know? It's a video game!
And what's truly amusing are people like this. "Weirdo" The new term used by the opposition. We are starting to see that reference all over now when someone doesn't follow the agenda.
I guess, that if people don't like these games -they don't playing.
Gotta go - storm clearing out..
NMS is not free. Remember that.
This is the problem here. You have people that think if you don't agree with them there is something wrong with you. Did you not know that EVERY thing they say is a FACT and you are wrong because their OPINION is FACT. Then they start name calling because you don't agree with them that the game is not the BEST thing since sliced bread. I have to say it was so much nicer when we didn't have social media. These type of people were not heard from except for the poor suckers around them like their family's.
some like it, others don't, no surprise there (or we'd all be playing one game)... who cares and it doesn't matter
for those that don't like it... go on about your day, no need to waste your time on something you don't even like (or are bored with)
