discordant Interface not opening

So I am at the monolith and walked all around it but the interface is not popping up. This is a newer game that I started. I am in the correct system type and planet type. Is there something I need to do before it will work? I was hoping to get the Multitool once the atlantiduem is put in. Thanks.

Sounds like you are mixing up monoliths and portals. Portals have the pop up interface. Monolith just have a device somewhere on them that you can interact with. They don't pop up.

The interface you're looking for will only be found on Monoliths in a Korvax star system. The reveal may also be a gated encounter if you're still too early in the game.

Not every monolith has the dissonant interface, even on dissonant planets

Once you have progressed far enough through the Atlanid questline ALL monoliths in Korvax system, whether dissonant or not, will have the option to interact with a discordant interface.

But not all dissonant systems are Korvax and these ONLY appear in Korvax systems.

I don't think I have completed the Purge. Was trying to get a nice MT to make things easier at the start of the new game I started. I will go find the Purge and work on that next. Thanks.
