Nexus cant be unlocked

Completed the expedition. Talk to Nexus, "the terminal rejects my input. Whatever its purpose, it appears I am not yet authorized to use it. I should find and speak to the inhabitants of this station before returning." Huh? I can accept quests when I was in expedition and now I cant? I talked to the quicksilver vendor, Nada, Polo, and all the "iterations" I can find in the anomaly, but same message from Nexus. I didnt do the tutorial quest by the way.

Any insights?

There is a small tutorial mission the first time you encounter the Anomaly on a save. Basically, you wander around and talk to most of the NPCs at some point. Sounds like that is the mission that is active for you.

Just do it, or see if you can switch the mission to the one you want in the log.

Investigate the Space Anomaly is in the main quest log. It asks me to do the Alone Amidst the Stars quest, which is part of Artemis Path quest line which I didnt do. So I have to do the Awakenings - Alone Amidst the Stars, then after first meeting with Artemis, talk to Nada, then unlocks the Nexus.
