But you also don't need to follow any mission if you just want to go to another galaxy.
The other is obtain your first glyph, find a portal and get within 8k LY from the Galaxy Centre
Are you sure? I remembered being asked if I wanted to create a new star, and if you agreed then you went to the center.
It's been more than 2 years though so I guess I'm confused
What's the fastest way to obtain a glyph?
I start a new save for every major content update and always do both the Artemis and Atlas paths. You've always just gotten the Star Seed recipe if you say "yes" to the question regarding birthing a new star, but no galaxy center jump.
The Artemis path, assuming you don't want to use exploit methods. You get all 16 glyphs when doing the mission named "The Purge" which is near the end of the Artemis path. You only need the first glyph to portal to the galaxy center.
The other option which may or may not be faster, depending on your luck, is talking to a "traveler" then talking to them again to get pointed to their grave. Then visiting the grave to get a glyph. I say may or may not be faster, because my own luck finding travelers is horrible. I finished the entire Atlas and Artemis paths in my current save before I ever ran into one.
Well, this is both unfortunate and good to know LOL. Thank you
When you find another traveler on a Space Station talk to them after you have and finished. Talk to them a second time and select the 100 nanite answer.
Why they decided to give one a distinctive title and the other a series of titles is a head scratcher. Part of the problem is the tutorial morphs into the Artemis series of quests at some point.
As noted, the Atlas Path just allows you birth a star. (and get some rewards the first time) It can be repeated in each new galaxy (at least last time I checked).
The Artemis series concludes with you doing some warps, a final trip to the Atlas, and a choice of galaxies. You really never go to the center, you just get a choice of galaxies to travel to from wherever you are when you finish all the steps. The game does not care where you warp to get the required amount. You could consistently warp away from the center and you will still get the same choice when you finish the required number.
OR the 250 nanite reply if you're cuckoo for cocoa puffs and play on EXPENSIVE
Talk to anybody on a Space Station that has a White Glowing Outline (Unless that's been changed with the new Orbital Update.)
Haven't played the new update, because I'm being lazy and don't feel like compiling and merging over 100 LUAs
