Starship Parts

i can finally build my dream Starship so where can i find these parts? :D

They're in space ships. Buy one, scrap it, get one piece back.

You break down the crashed ships and instead of getting the credits, you select the option to get a part off the ship instead.

Find a ship (only fighter, hauler or explorer) with a part you like, bring it to a space station, use the panel on the far back left and scrap it for that part from the ship.

As Chaos mentioned, the shipbuilding feature only covers three types of ship so far. Though I'm finding myself picking up Solars and Exotics for parts in case those become available in the future.

You have a couple of options. Go cheap by seeking crashed ships to scrap for parts, or just buy ships that have a feature you admire.
Be aware that "building the ship of your dreams" just means you get to choose between three existing types (fighter, hauler explorer) and a limited option to pick the wings, fuselage, engine, and class. Parts are not transferable between the three types.

I find it best to just shop the ships in the station and when I see one with a feature I like, I buy it and scrap it for that part. You can color your creation when you get it done. It is a bit of fun, but probably not what you might have envisioned.

They teased it in the Orbital trailer, so I guess they're going to add it later. I really hope so, so I could build my Stygian Vector.
