Go to the station.
bc i found a portal but it didnt take glyphs.
thanks.
whats an euclid galaxy? and how could i tell what galaxy im in currently?
The Map will only show you the path as far as your ship can reach, so, you can either go to the last point you can see, and then more of the path will show up, so you go to that last point, lather, rinse, repeat.
Also, you really should wait until you;'ve collected all of the glyphs before you buy the egg, that way you can use a portal to get there, the egg gives you the exact code to put into the portal.
Using your ship to get there will take a very long time BTW.
Euclid is the name of the galaxy you start in. There's an inset in the upper left-hand corner of the galaxy map that show an image of the galaxy you're currently in and its name.
The Euclid galaxy is the starting galaxy. There are 255 different galaxies in the game, each with their own name that can be seen when you're in the Warp Map at the top left-hand corner. As far as the Glyphs are concerned, you're best bet are getting them is by talking to a Wandering Traveler at a Space Station. They have a chance to appear at one, so if you don't find one at one Space Station, then warp to another system. They look nothing like a Gek, Vy'keen, or Korvax and and look holographic, too, just speak with them after you first talk to them and ask where they came from, and they'll give you the location of a grave. After you get to the grave, interact with it and you get a glyph. Also, glyphs are given in numerical order and there are 16 of them total.
This, however, makes me think that this isn't your problem. You need at least 12(I think) portal glyphs to get there. There are 16 in total, but you don't need them all. If you haven't finished the Artemis storyline, then you'll need to speak to travellers and find their graves(ask them where they came from). Or you can wait until you finish the story and get your ship later. It'll be there.
how many runes do i need?

Easiest way to find a monolith/portal is to use one of the 4 standard exocrafts with a fully upgraded scanner. Any of these exocrafts will work, Roamer, Nomad, Colossus, or Pilgrim. You'll need the scanner installed and the 2 upgrades, there's an A and a B, I don't know their exact names, but their's only 2 anyway.
Hop in your exocraft, open the quick menu and choose "scanner". You'll get a list of things it can scan for and the last one on the list is a monolith. Go to the monolith, do the puzzle(it doesn't matter if you succeed or fail), then you'll have to give it a superior faction item for the race that's in control of the system your in. This will be a Vy'keen Effigy, a Gek Relic, or a Korvax Casing. You'll then be pointed strait for the portal for the planet you are on. That portal is also now permanently marked for you whenever you're in that system.
The address should be in the text for the egg if you hover over it, however, it's not clear which symbol is which, you can try to figure it out, or you can google it.
In literal terms? It's a rock.

If you've seen 2001: A Space Odyssey you'll already have some idea of what to expect here but the short answer is that it's big, black and surrounded by Knowledge Stones.
You can stumble across them by accident, scan for them using the aforementioned tools or buy Planetary Charts from the cartography desk at (almost) any space station.

Skipping ahead for a bit, once you've found a Portal you need to interact with the cylinder that pops up at one end of it and supply 'fuel' for each and every glyph before it will allow you to input an actual address.
oh i seen many of those monoliths then but never lead it to a portal.
oh that good to know that i need to feed it.
