if you can't live with it ...there is still the save editor or mods
I just wanted to follow up on this statement. You can NOT increase exocraft storage capacity with just the save editor. Exocraft will revert to the number of slots the game files indicate even if you edit with the save editor to give them more. It's just how the game works.
You need to use a mod, and keep the mod installed, if you want more slots in your exocraft.
I actually agree with everyone above, that exocraft have plenty of storage now without the need for a mod to add even more. But, if you want more, there are several mods that do it. All of the ones I'm aware of also add more slots to ships, freighter and exosuit but it would be easy enough to edit the lua to be just exocraft and recompile.
Here are two which have been kept up-to-date:
Slot Master[www.nexusmods.com]
More Upgradeable slots[www.nexusmods.com]
Of course the other thing was the odd missing slots.
I may eventually look into those mods @Jaggid Edje, but for now I'm just going to "live with it". :-)
Class is what determines how many total supercharge slots things have. 4 if it is S-class, 3 for A, 2 for B, 1 for C. So any time you do not see the correct number of supercharge slots, you already KNOW that there is a supercharge slot (or even more than one) that can be revealed by unlocking more slots.
Exosuit and Exocraft are the exception, as they do not have a 'class'. They just have a fixed number of supercharge slots that is always the same.
In the case of Exocraft, all supercharge slots are showing from the start. Even if you could add more slots within the game, it wouldn't reveal any further supercharge slots.
