The only working solution that thread's creator came up with was to use the save editor to push that specific quest forward by one stage. Instructions for how to do it are in the other thread.
where is the backup editor?
The other mission, if I remember right, is related to the Settlement Taste of Metal mission. In any case, the mission is to talk to several NPCs at the Anomaly to find out about some item you need to resolve. I think the course of conversations leads you to the NPC in the corner of the big Teleporter room and then back to Polo or Nada.
To resolve the conflicts, you just have to take turns activating each one and try to follow it to see which one is bumped in the queue. It should resolve.
it's Helios that doesn't ask me for new data even though I have some! it's him who blocks the mission..
I scanned plants and animals on new planets...
thanks I left
“Fix Helios Story” and “Tethys Radiant Brain Fix” (For when Tethys refuses to talk about Radiant Brains)
"Fixes the mission blocker that occurs when you talk to Helios before talking to Nada in the storyline.
You can remove this mod after you have talked to the other NPCs on the space anomaly.
Note: When you install this mod while your Helios is already bugged, there will still be an icon over their head until you finish the quest. Instead, go to Selene, who also has an icon on top of their head. Ignore Helios until you have spoken with Nada again. Then the icon over Helios will also disappear."

This mod adds the option to convert Walker Brains into Radiant Brains with the help of Iteration: Tethys residing at Space Anomaly.
In the vanilla game there already exists a "background mission" that should allow players to exchange these items, but the conditions for triggering it are... unclear to say the least. The intent behind this mod is to provide a stupidly simple workaround that can be used any time: as long as player has 1 Walker Brain in the inventory, it will be possible to get 1 Radiant Brain from Tethys.
Note that the option will be available only during Tethys' "idle cycle", meaning outside of the quests involving them and only when player has the brains in their inventory - otherwise the button will be greyed out.
