Do this to get the Starborn Phoenix
Clicking “Add to account” will just open the game. Instead, do this:

1. Click the title of the article
2. Scroll down and click “Starborn Phoenix Ship” text link, That takes you to the store page
3. Install the free DLC (ship) by clicking the Green “Add to account button”
You should get a “Successfully added” message.

Log into game
Go to Anomaly, Quicksilver Synthesis Companion will have a 4th option now “Collect special rewards” Costs 1600 nanites

Credit goes to Steam user "Snow" for this.

Or costs 4,000 nanites, or costs 528 nanites. It depends on what you have your difficulty options set to.

When you see the article, instead of clicking the GREEN Button, you click the TITLE of the article, then you are brought to the Store Page, then you scroll down, and there's another Green Button, this is the green button you click, and it should say "Successfully added to your account"

It took my ship, I thought I was adding it to my fleet. Is that normal?

It took the ship I used to fly to the hub, I thought I could have both.

If you already had 12 ships, you will only be able to exchange your active ship when claiming it.

If you have less than 12 ships, then you get the choice to BUY and add it to your collection/fleet or you can still choose to Exchange your active ship.

In either case, the new ship will become your active ship parked in the Anomaly. This is normal.

If you added it, then you can summon your old ship (or any other in your fleet) in the Anomaly by using the quick menu [x] summon, other ship. If you exchanged it, then your old ship is gone. You may be able to reload your last save restore point when you got out of your old ship.

Thank you, I didn't trade it. I only have four ships now. I'll try to summon it. I appreciate your help. It has been a few years since I've played.

Thank you very much smurfy, I found my missing ship. You are a life saver.

Can ship be claimed for each save separately or it's one time thing?

All saves on your account can claim the ship, including new saves created after "buying" the DLC.

Not working as intended for me, as I was already using the original Starborn Runner as my ship.

Steam tried to open game = nothing happened. Opened game and looks like the gold version replaced the normal version. Couldn't access ship inventory from sales terminals, just exosuit and Freighter (??)

Went to anomaly - vendor has 4th option, but the list of items is blank.

Bought a different ship, and can access ship inventory.

Exited game and check steam page = says item added to my inventory.

Opened a different save, which didn't have the starborn runner - only option is to get the original, option 4 is a blank list.

@mjvoice, I also had the Starborn Runner originally and had no issues at all.

One possible source of your problem is that you are using a mod that does something with the table of ships and you have not updated the mod since they added the Starborn Phoenix to the game. If that is the case, the Starborn Phoenix is not available for the game to find because that mod doesn't have it in the table.

You did it wrong, you clicked on the GREEN BUTTON, which opens the game. You need to click on the TITLE of the article, then it brings you to a different page, and it's on THAT page that click on the Green Button.

I'll check, I am running some mods but didn't think any of them modified ships lists.
