Starborn runner

So... the new starborn runner is just an exotic (stats and rank wise) and with the hyperdrive range of an explorer, but with a very bad supercharged slots layout ?

That's... err.... a bit underwhelming...

This game is not about stats, it's all about appearance and aesthetics. The game is ridiculously easy and does not require a 'min/max' mindset like MMOs.

If you want different stats, just use the save editor and modify them. It's extremely easy and takes seconds.

if you concered about stats, suggest using goatfungus, cuz then in offline mode, you can make the perfect ship.

It has a unique tech called a "Photonix Core": which I believe was a pre-order bonus. It increases manoeuvrability and pulse drive capability beyond other ships, when you add additional components.

Even the Utopia Speeder is a re-skin of the golden vector: same stats, same supercharged slots. It even said Golden Vector in the trailer.

My Take: its looks cool, got a lot of people back into the game, made money from Hello games, so i guess it works. Will I be using it? Not really.

It's just another ship to add to a collection, hype will dissipate like when the organic plucked chicken came in lol... fun for a week then you go back to your fav. ship

Um it works in online mode too... there are no sanity checks in NMS

100% correct - Quote from the Wiki: "The blueprint is only available for players who bought the Limited Edition (PS4) version of the game, or got it from the day-one patch."

Of course it's also available using the (goatfungus) save editor

Chief did you see that post on reddit where some guy BOUGHT the starborn runner from a NPC? I think someone else sold theirs and he got it...

I DID - it had a different name and config but was for sure a "runner"

Yup, on most of my Exp saves, I end up with two of them

Nuts. I thought it was insanely funny. Another funny incident was 2 (me and someone random) of at R5 space station: see an exotic fly in. Both of us run to the pilot. Just as both of the initiate the the conversation both the pilot and ship vanish. LOL.

Did you get it from a Playstation cross-save or something... or are you playing a save from 2018/2019?
