What's useful to take out of the expedition to a normal save?
Finished an expedition for the first time and feel bad I didn't try them before, looking from the outside they felt like FOMO but it was pretty chill and easy to get through the whole thing.

It's given me the desire to start a new game but I do know you can take some stuff out of the expedition besides the expedition rewards themselves. Any recommendations on what would be spend all these expedition credits and nanites on to give a fresh save a bit of a boost?

Whatever you want, really. S-Rank technologies, especially scanner upgrades because that will get you a boatload of cash, fash. Movement system upgrades, because nothing is more annoying than running out of breath every 5 seconds while sprinting.

As for materials, if you have extra slots might as well grab any o2 and na that you got, also h2... other than that, I couldn't think of too much that you'd get during the expedition that you couldn't also easily get on a normal play.

Yeah I was surprised that one of the expeditions was to make Liquid Explosives this way but then I just never used it for the rest of the expeditions. Didn't seem like the other objectives which all led into each other and gave you useful things. Are those two things for something specific?

The liquid explosive quest is just to introduce folks to that part of the anomaly and show them example for what the mats are used for. This entire expedition is a tutorial for basic gameplay.

All the expansion slots you get and don't really need.

The Photonix Core technology from the Starborn Runner. Previously it was only available from PS4 preorder accounts. There's a way to get 3 of them legit. 1. Claim the Starborn on you primary account from the quicksilver vendor. 2. Make a copy of the Starborn (using nanites) from your Expedition account. 3. Send the tech back from your Expedition to your Main when ending the expedition.

Acid, Lubricant, Living Glass, Superconductors, and Poly FIbers have crafting uses.

Stasis Devices, Fusion Igniters, Cryogenic Chambers, Cryo Pumps, Quantum Processors, Circuit Boards, Portable Reactors, Liquid Explosives, Unstable Gel, Fusion Accelerant, and Organic Catalysts are all strictly to be sold to make Units, or used to craft things which you sell to make Units.

Stasis Devices and Fusion Igniters are the end-products, selling for 15 million units each. Setting up farms and automated mines to facilitate crafting stacks of these is extremely lucrative, and can easily net you over 1 billion units from 24 hours of production.

The biggest bottleneck is the plant products required. You can either make a massive, massive farm, or a few automated mines and then use refiner recipes to convert metals into plants.

There are also some alloys in the crafting path which have other uses. Dirty Bronze, Aronium, and Herox make Silver which is a mainstay for Freighter components, Grantine, Magno-Gold, and Lemium makes Gold which has some important crafting uses.

Can you install more than one Photonix core in a single ship?
Once you have the Photonix Core can it simply be crafted over and over like other ship drives?
