Space Anomaly Mission

I have this mission from the start, I advanced too much, at this point; I bought all blueprints (nanite and tech modules, all of them) that Anomaly has to offer, I talked to everyone, seen everything.. and set foot to every inch in this big ball. But mission is still there.

First i though it was a fixed mission, which is supposed to be there all the time, since there is this Exploration Guide side quest is there all time, i looked it up and people say it is a guide, and will stay there all time.. so I thought Space Anomaly was just like that..

but now I strongly believe it's kinda stuck. Any advice how i can get rid of it?

After reading too many google results, it is confirmed.. mission is stuck

Reason;
* quest was not selected while doing some steps and it just missed them
* quest steps weren't followed in correct order (which wasn't told)

Expected order of action;
* talk to helios, get nanites after turning in some data (can be done once for a day)
* buy an exosuit upgrade
* buy a technology blueprint with salvaged texh module

thing is; i got everything which was for sale, exosuit slots are at maximum. and already talked to helios today ;) see how bad luck i have..

So i inspected further and found out there was a save editor thing, i thought maybe i could "unlearn" some of my blueprints and do the quest in expected way.. but (a big but) i'm playing this on xbox..

save editor says its for pc/ps4/xbox but i dont know how to make this work. i'm done :(

You do not have to buy any thing for that part. Wait until tomorrow. Go scan more stuff. Tomorrow make sure that mission is active in your log and do what it says. Do not talk to Helios until prompted, and if you have new scan data you should be able to turn it in. ( Also do not talk to Nada until prompted. When you are prompted to look in a place you do not have to buy anything, just look.

This should unstick your mission. At least it unstuck my mission when it happened to me a while ago.

Also after each step check mission log to make sure nothing changed.

This is NOT the first Space Anomaly mission, it looks like it but it is different, how so?

Explore the new reality <- I'm here. right after the purge, nada didn't remember me.. visit old friends part is done.. this has the same "mission description" with the previous one.. (explore space anomaly, buy tech etc..) but this is somehow different.

well.. that said, i still dont know what to do.. maybe i should just wait like you said..

1) First space anomaly mission was there (bugged) - i never saw it complete
2) I purged the simulation, and proceeded
3) and it's new form activated and sat on top of it

I think first uncompleted Space anomaly bugged the new one and i got 2 bugged missions now lol

I finally fixed it. Needed to learn lots of things in the process though..

first thing first, xbox game saves are hold in xbox cloud servers and they get syncronized on enter & exit of the games. So either I had to hack into xbox file system to touch those files or needed to find a way to access cloud..

I went for cloud and after too many mumbo jumbo i found a way to hijack data transfer and got my hands on data ;) rest was too easy compared the access process.

there is this guy nomnom, coded a save editor, after tinkerin with it for many hours i managed to make it to decompile my awkwardly structured save data, thanks to xbox encrypted file names, and here.. the treasure.. relevant part of the json dump of the quest

As I already noticed it was not the first version of the mission, some guys were saying quest name should be ^NEXUS1 (not 14) on internet but those guys are the ones who were stuck in the FIRST mission, So this is the one after the Purge.. I simply modified it to "Progress: 8" and nomnom encrypted it back to a proper save file... once the transmission could be hijacked while being synchronized (download from cloud) you can send your data into xbox instead of original data.. and upon exiting the game, cloud syncs it back to cloud itself

well, that was easy /sarcasm :d anyways.. happy ending ;)
