how do i find corvette parts?

so im still doing the expedition and after i found the 5 parts you need to for the milestone no other parts show up for me the places you can salvage them from are just gone why is this?

u need to install the parts on the corvette as well, like 3 guns, 3 reactors ect, i found some rewards contribute directly to the next milestone in corvette packages.

in one of these packages i got 2/3 reactors and had to farm the other one on a scavenge planet for 5min.

Where to get Corvette Parts:

Buy simple ones from Space Station.

Trade with the Space Station Corvette Module.

Dig up Salvagable Scrap on planets.

Crashed Freighters on Planets.

Missions from Nexus, Space Station, Corvette, etc.

Frigate Expedition Missions.

Hunting Pirates.

Shooting Cargo Pods on Freighters.

Derelict Freighter end terminal rewards 3-5 random corvette modules.

ok i know all that but what i meant and i am sorry i guess i did not explain it well the savagable ones on the planets are not showing up for me when i go to a planet that has them after i did the find 5 milestone the salvage just wont show up when i was doing that quest i found 3 salvage and after i looted the 2nd one i got my 5th part and the 3rd salvage spot just vanished it would not show up on any scan i did.

if moving around the planet to another location doesn't help, there may be another planet in the system with scrap... if that doesn't help, have you tried saving and reloading the save? i've had to do that a couple of times during my (mostly solo) expedition run...

if moving around the planet to another location doesn't help, there may be another planet in the system with scrap... if that doesn't help, have you tried saving and reloading the save? i've had to do that a couple of times during my (mostly solo) expedition run...

yeah i have tried that i was wondering if it was because im still doing the expedition

idk but i do recall seeing parts become plentiful later after i moved out of the starting system to the RVs...

It's been said on Jason Plays in the comment section you can, apparently, shoot those salvage locations from inside a ship to obtain the parts. Implying of course, no need to land, diggy diggy or anything else... so I'm going to find out today. Give it a shot, you never know.

UPDATE: Indeed, you can recover salvageable scraps from aboard your ship using a photon gun. Nice.

The first planet I found with salvageable scrap gave me mountains of corvette parts within an hour. I'm getting probably 100-150 parts per hour.

Just shoot the salvage pod with your beginner corvette and move on to the next. It's fun and easy.

I found 2 ways of getting corvette parts.
Scavenger parts on planets, the yellow/gold icons, they have corvette parts.
Anotehr way is to scavenge Frigates in space, I haven't checked is downed or drowned frigates carry them too, but worth a check as they usually carry several parts.

yes i know that but what i said in this post was that after i finished the milestone in the expedition to salvage 5 parts no matter how many planets i have visited that have salvage they dont show up for me no matter how many times i scan and no matter how far i travel on the planet.

You need to look for a Planet that has "SALVAGEABLE SCRAP" in the Planet Description when you look at it after you scan it with "C"

You need to use your visor, not your scanner. You can just hop out of the corvette seat, use the visor, mark a spot and fly there with the corvette & shoot it - rinse & repeat. That being said, there's not much point in grinding salvage in the expedition. It's much easier outside of it on planets that aren't choked full with aggressive sentinels.

Try turning off multiplayer. Those salvage sites may have already been scavanged

You're not providing a whole lot of information to go on so of course people are going to presume various things that could be the issue. As the previous comment said, it's likely that all salvage spots are already mined out if you have multiplayer enabled. Try disabling it or go into systems that aren't part of the expedition goals.
