It's been... quirky, to say the least. I've had a couple minor parts disappear on me, for one. And a stack of 4 of a part got turned into 4 individual parts just because I rotated them.
Yea, and the parts I can move ended up duplicated in the module section. Then the main photon cannon actually disappeared on me so i had no guns. adding another turret didn't add it back so i tried to rebuild it from scratch which duplicated the parts in my inventory. I was able to build a second corvette from these parts but now i am to scared to move and install modules on it.
Yes they are. I had 3 photon cannons just vanish into thin air.
Similar and more issues on my end.

I have the same moving issues
My Pulse cannon suddenly vanished.
My corvette "enhancement" modules suddenly were replaced with the sprites of the slot corresponding Suit ones or some bugged resource symbol

I can only reccomend making a bug report with the form, i did the same.
I *HIGHLY* recommend not screwing with the tech inventory of corvettes for any reason, until it's fixed, at least not with your main save.

This includes:

-Adding more slots (people have reported it duplicates techs)
-Adding new techs (heard someone say they put a weapon on and it doesn't work)
-Moving techs (some won't let you move it at all)

Just leave the tech tree alone unless you got a throwaway save you can screw with for testing purposes.
The entire thing is extremely buggy right now. I have modules that have randomly tripled, some that dont show up at all, etc. Its honestly super bad. I dont know why they'd release it like this, its not like it had a deadline or even a cost.

I've not had anything of the sort happen to me.

That's the thing about games, sometimes you playtest internally and it all seems to be working, but somebody with a mod, or someone thinks of doing something you didn't think to do breaks it.

That's just how it happens.

Anybody who has played NMS for at least a year would be used to this by now. Anytime something new comes out, expect it to work half-right but if you aren't extremely gentle with it, expect it to break in hilarious ways until they fix it.
Welcome to the perpetual beta test that is Early Access No Man's Sky.

New update, new problems... but on the other hand, they're still adding free content after 9 years. I'd complain, but I'm having so much fun I usually forget to.

Yeah, seriously, each update is about the same amount of content most other games would charge for a DLC.
Yeah, I can't seem to place a module again if i rotate it and then delete it. Seems pretty buggy
yeah something, or multiple things are bugged. I cant move core modules (or remove any tech), and ship parts are duplicating themselves in the tech window, devouring all my space
All my modules got tripled, every time I switched to another ship I got another copy of all of them. So there goes my plan on making a powerhouse of a Corvette.

They'll probably fix it after some time.
just be advised, if you place chairs and couches or what-nots, thats fine, just don't try to sit in them if it is allowed, you will sink thru the floor and anything else that the ship is docked to. I went all the way thru the anomoly and couldn't get back in, so I ended up calling my ship to me,
But all in all, I like the new concept, I made a simple corvette, not too big and not to small, plenty of room for expansions when and if they add anything more later. Only cost me around 3 or 4 million, and the guns are phenomenal. Just no room in the tech slots to put too many upgrades, and you can't add any more tech slots, might be cause mines only a class C, haven't figured out yet how to get a better class, and wouldn't have enough nanites anyway, not yet at least.
i found reloading my save seems to resolve any tech glitches that occur such as duplicating parts and missing parts, and thank god it does because my ship got degunned :(
