Resolution slider won't go above 1920x1080 on AMD RX 6800XT
I have an AOC C32G1 32" curved monitor that can somehow push out 3840x2160 resolution. I have an AMD Radeon RX 6800XT graphics card. Every other game I play goes to that resolution without a hitch. For some reason No Man's Sky won't show a resolution higher than 1920x1080, no matter what settings I change.

A workaround I've read about is I can change the 'ResolutionWidth' and 'ResolutionHeight' values manually in the 'TKGRAPHICSSETTINGS.MXML' file to '3840' and '2160' respectively, save the file, change it to read-only so the game doesn't revert back to 1920x1080. Having it set to 'Borderless' I load up the game and I don't see a change in the gaming window, so I think it took at 3840x2160. I can't confirm it, even though the game looks very good.

I messed with the graphics settings in the AMD Software: Adrenaline Edition and I still can't get the game to show 3840x2160 in the Resolution slider. I'm not coming up with any results on here nor Reddit or other sites where users can post about this so I figured I'd try here for help.

I can only guess if there is also an iGPU involved ?

If so ...dont use AMD SmartAccess Graphics

Preparation:
Install the latest AMD GPU driver
(As for December 2024 File Version :32.0.12019.1028..-..Adrenalin 24.10.1

Restart your PC and start your AMD Radeon Software

1. Select Smart Technology and disable AMD SmartAccess Memory setting at the end
2.Select Gaming TAB
3. In there select Graphics TAB
GPU1 is highlighted
4. Select AMD SmartAccess Graphics
5. Select Hybride Mode
Go back to 2 than 3 and select GPU2 and do 4&5 for this GPU, too

Delete your TKGRAPHICSSETTINGS.MXML
Reboot your PC and run NMS again
