Relic planets where do they spawn?

idk the answer to your question but i have to wonder if you may have confused star systems with galaxies...
Relic planets can spawn in any star type and any biome except maybe exotics. There does not appear to be any star or planet type with higher odds.
You just have to keep checking systems until you find one. The only clue is that the planet will list as Reliquary when you scan from space. I am not sure all the planets with relics do that, but I know some do.

I was finding a lot when searching purple systems but that could have just been the RNG.

Planet type could include the word Reliquary, ruin, ruined, or abandoned. They are uncommon, but not especially rare.
