Complete a Fosil, How to fix it? All phases

Hi, I'm starting to piss off with this I'm still waiting for any fix and nothing changed, I lilterally end all the phases (besides the fish because I didn't wanted to do it yet) but the ONLY thing that's missing to be completed is GATHER A COMPLETE FOSIL FOR ALL THE PHASES 2,3,4,5, I couldn't find anymore the place to talk with the little guy + I have at least more than 100 fosils meanwhile I tried to completed the phases or just get the usual gold icon and nothing happens.

Today, after long time, I tried one more time and swapping between the missions. appearead the message at the bottom right to gather 1 piece for each part of a fosil and when I did it, just dissaperead and that's it!

How I fix this? I'm missing something? is there any specific planet for each phase and I didn't know? Please I need some help!
I always play the solo game and did give a try to the expeditions, and once I give a chance it happens this, it's a bit annoying and sad.

have you built the fossil display creation unit?
if yes, and you have a fully assembled fossil on it, have you saved it?
if yes, have you then displayed that fully assembled fossil?

there's a fossil guy in all space stations, too... he's under the stairs on the right with the scrap dealer guy... under the guild desk...

Did you actually visit all the Dig Sites and talk to the Gek or have you encountered the bug whereby the Dig Site milestones were all marked as completed automatically without you ever going to them?

If you have the auto-complete bug for one or more of the 5 dig sites, then you cannot complete the milestones to present the bone collections back to those dig sites.

Manually reaching the dig sites does not work.

You will have a few options:
1. Leave the Expedition open and hope HG come up with a working patch.
2. If the Expedition is being run as a brand new save, just delete it and start again (turn MP off to hopefully avoid this bug). If it is an existing save, return to the main save and refer to option #1.
3. Implement a manual workaround to make the bugged milestone(s) optional and complete the Expedition. See reply 13 on page 1 here.
4. Use a save editor to mark the hand-in milestones as completed (see reply #22 above)

My problem here is I CAN'T see any dig site to talk with the fosil guy, I'll take a look to the link you shared, thanks!
