Sweet! I had multiple crashes from this exact issue. I will have to test it.
Xbox has a wait for updates, I don't call that flawless. Sure, it might not crash, but that is one piece of hardware for all. PCs are different. I have had no crashes here for example.
I'm wondering if these crashes are happening due to some hardware. Like are you using NVIDIA or Intel or what for graphics? I am running Linux and using Proton, I would probably be more likely to crash and have none.
PC Steam version works great for me.
No crash for me on stable branch, Nvidia 1060 and AMD 3600. No fix for suddenly loud exosuit or lighting issues etc introduced in Worlds 1/2 or issues from before orbital. Most of those are cosmetic, but really reduce my fun in this game.
Nota Bene: Best to apply this fix to refiners and nutrient processors as well - anything with temporal and spatial dependent inventory.
I'm on game pass version and get multiple crashes each session (on top of other bugs). I'm sure some of it is on my side but NMS is the only game I play that's crashing, so it's just PC things like usual. I have to clear out my crash dumps folder pretty regularly recently, lol.
On a sidenote, would like some of these updates from 5.61 onwards.. I guess MS is holding things up
The last item
- Fixed an issue where systems with two GPUs could fail to load into the game.
wasn't there when it only applied to PlayStation.See the workaround in this thread to set all volumes to 100% (or at least the 80% defaults) and use Windows Mixer to set the actual volume level. That gets suit voice to the same level as the FX.
Thanks; didn't actually read the newest notes - didn't see they updated on the actual page.
Now I can't build those stations **at all** on macos version experimental
Im unsure if it supposed to be a bug or Im simply missing something. There are 3 bone tail types (stub and 2 tailfans), that I cannot seem to find, plus it is not listed at the fossil collector either. Anyone been able to get their hand on these? If yes, how?
