How to get the purple drive

I´ve played NMS for thousands of hours, but my current save is from 300 hours ago. I don´t know if I have all I need to get to the Purple systems.
Would anybody be so kind to explain please?

Just to add, then your done googling, you need to finish the quest. The drive by itself does nothing without having the quest flag. So don't bother looking for workarounds. they do not work.

1. Complete the Atlas path (until it become Atlas Eternal)
2. Complete the Autophage mission "We who Returned" (to trigger this you need to complete the Artemis path and visit a harmonic camp and unlock the terminal)
3. Pulse in space to trigger "Stellar Multitudes"
4. complete the mission (you get the atlantid drive blueprints a part of the mission)

Oh, in case you're playing perma death, keep in mind that "paradise" worlds, in that game mode, have aggro sentinels. So when given that choice, don't take "paradise".

Even if you did that, you can still use a space station to teleport back to Euclid.
