Settlements and Sentinels...
I'm noticing that the percentage for Sentinels is going higher and higher, as I build new things in the Settlement. I've only had one Visitor arrive at the place, who lowered the percentage a bit ( bounty hunter ). I'm guessing that it's going to slowly increase, until it reaches 100% on the sentinels.

Once it gets there, will there be some kind of intervention quest/thing to do, to lower it? Just getting a bit worried as I see the percentage rise...

It will trigger "Trace of Metal" event.
I found one settlement on a starting planet when i made a new toon, so when i visit one of the npc, then all hell break loose. I didnt feel like getting involved, so i let the sentinels do the worst.

until the Settlement is established, it will get Sentinel raids from time to time... it may also still get them after it is well established but at a much lower rate...

Trace of Metal is a Corrupt Sentinels raid... not a normal one... you'll still have the normal ones after ToM is finished...

You'll have to do that eventually if you want to get an atlantid drive to get to purple stars
The Sentinel raids are not hard to handle.

Paralysis Mortar them, then switch to Scatter Blaster and blast them.

it helps if those weapons are maxed out but unless you have no upgrades on them at all it's still doable.

What do you need paralysis mortar for?? They are not much of a threat so long as you don't stand still.

Pulse spitter annihilates sentinals quite nicely.... the constant reloading is extremely, extremely annoying as it is with most weapons, and is the main drawback of ground combat in this game. Its like 35% of weapon use time is spent reloading, its insane.
The sentinels attacking your settlement is a regular event. There are some buffs you get from a few decisions that make it a little longer but just expect a sentinel attack when you show up.

Cause I must be sick, I decide on my current save to set up a settlement management role on an extreme sentinel world. Kind of adds a new layer. To offset that , I also built a base on the same planet next to a sentinel pillar...I am goofy... not crazy.

So far it has worked out okay. Can't wait for the Trace of Metal mission. It is already in my log but keep postponing it...once I nixed the initial attack. Until they fix the full waves (that are not) showing up in the regular game, not interested in doing that several times until they do fix it.
