Rings on the gas giants - giant just a tad smaller

The gas giants are scary fun once. They start getting "standard" by the ninth one. They have a lot of annoying features like trying to get to the moons because the planet is so massive. It becomes annoying trying to get anywhere because the view and large gaps makes it hard to stay on track.

But... would it not be super cool to find a gas giant with a ring. Maybe not Jupiter sized like the ones we see now, but a bit smaller... maybe have some secret sauce on the surface to spice things up so there is a reason to visit.

Just visually, it would be awesome. I really like the gas giants and I was not a fan of the idea when players asked for it. It is fun just to watch the clouds swirling in the various bands.

I am not bothered by having to fly half a year to get to the moons. The moons aren't really why I am in a gas giant system anyway.

But the rings, my god the RINGS would be freaking amazing! I REALLY hope they add this, I have wanted that since I saw my first gas giant!

Use cockpit view and you can see the location of moons through through the gas giant using your radar...

Yeah, I knew that. It just seems like they gave us want we want... but it could have been a bit cooler if there was variety. There could be some other ideas to get them cooler, but rings like a saturn gas body would be a good start. Maybe baby rings like some of the outer planets.

Yeah, it's kinda funny that ringed gas giants weren't added given Sean used a Saturn emoji for the announcement
